10/10/09 Broome lost to top-ranked North Country CC 2-5 in a match that saw host NCCC (12-1) score three goals in the last 18 minutes of play. The Hornets tied the contest 1-1 in the twentieth minute on a goal by Ryan Serbonich. Herman Corbic's goal gave the Hornets (8-5) a 2-1 lead but the Saint Bernards tied the game before the half. BCC will travel to Corning this Thursday for a 4:30 match.
10/8/09 Broome scored four goals in the first half to give them a 4-2 victory against host Jefferson CC in Watertown. Ryan Serbonich scored two goals to lead the Honets (8-4) in the contest, the first came off an assist from Jarod Goff in the 21st minute of play. This begins the start of a four game road stretch for BCC.
10/3/09 Broome lost their first home game of the season to Jamestown CC 1-3. The Hornet's record now stands at 7-4 while Jamestown improved to 7-6. BCC's next game is a road trip to Watertown to face Jefferson CC.
9/29/09 The Hornets converted three of their five shots on goal to give Broome (7-3) a 3-1 victory over host Tompkins Cortland CC (7-4). Andrew Shell scored his first two goals of the season, the last one came in the72nd minute to seal the win. Brian Backus broke a 1-1 tie just five minutes into the second half and goalie Chris Ousterout was able to keep the Panthers in check with seven second half saves.
9/26/09 Broome remained undefeated at home with a 4-3 win over Hudson Valley CC (3-5-1). Trailing 3-2 at the half, Steve Rathburn scored the tying goal off an assist from JT Selter in the 67th minute of play. Seven minutes later Brian Backus found the back of the net for the game winner. The Hornets (6-3) take the short trip to Tompkins Cortland CC this Tuesday for a MSAC game.
9/24/09 Broome traveled to Alfred State College and lost their third game of the season in overtime, 1-2. Jordan Oakley scored off an assist from Steve Rathburn in the 64th minute of the game only to be tied with 4 minutes left to go in regulation. Alfred (4-4) netted the game winner 8 minutes into the first overtime. Chris Ousterout had eight saves as BCC now stands at 5-3 for the year.
9/22/09 The Hornets (5-2) snapped their two-game losing skid with a 6-1 victory over Fulton Montgomery CC (2-4) at Alumni Field. Steve Rathburn and Ermin Corbic each scored twice while teammates Jordan Oakley and Ryan Serbonich each added a goal. Chris Ousterout finished the game with eleven saves.
9/19/09 Broome fell to host Cayuga CC (1-5-1) in the sixth minute of overtime 2-1 off a corner kick. Brian Backus scored the Hornet's only goal and goalie Chris Ousterout registered five saves. BCC dropped to 4-2 on the year.
9/15/09 Broome lost to host defending national champions Herkimer County CC 0-2. The game was scoreless until 55 minutes into the game when Herkimer scored. Goalie Chris Ousterout made 17 saves for the Hornets who shot 7 for 20 against Herkimer.
9/12/09 Broome played host to Niagara County CC and beat the visitors 7-2. Bryan Backus scored two unassisted goals to lead the Hornets. Goalie Chris Ousterout made ten saves along with getting assist for a long punt that set up a goal by Steve Rathbun. Broome is 4-0.
9/8/09 BCC scored two goals within the first five minutes of play at Finger Lakes CC on their way to a 4-1 win. Ermin Corbic scored the first goal of the game followed shortly thereafter by a goal from Paul Sardella. Corbic also had an assist. Jordan Oakley and Bryan Backus scored a goal each for the Hornets with Oakley credited with two assists. BCC is 3-0.
9/5/09 Broome is 2-0 after their 3-1 win over visiting Genesee CC. Steven Rathbun scored two unassisted goals and Jordan Oakley netted one unassisted goal for BCC. Goalie Chris Ousterout made four saves.
9/3/09 Broome opened the 2009 season by defeating visiting Onondaga CC in a 4-3 overtime win. Ryan Serbonich scored the winning goal late in the overtime period off an assist from Jordan Oakley. Serbonich also scored a goal prior to overtime. Steve Rathbun scored two goals for BCC including the goal that tied the game at 3, leading to the overtime. Mike Krol, Adam Lantry, Ermin Corbic were also credited with an assist each. Goalie Chris Ousterout made six saves. BCC is 1-0.
